BlairJ | RE: March 2023 Raise - Pitch Deck and Offering Page QuestionsHello, new investor here. Slide 8 of the Pitch Deck says, "LOWER LAUNCH COSTS DOWN 99% BY 2025." How will this be accomplished when launch services are to be provided by other organizations? Thanks BlairJ "Time ... is what keeps everything from happening at once." - Ray Cummins

[email protected] | RE: March 2023 Raise - Pitch Deck and Offering Page QuestionsJohn, Thanks for the questions. 1. Station-in-a-Box is a product that we are selling now. Primary vendors are identified and with customer commitments and funding we can launch in a relatively short timeframe. We have ground tests for Phase 2 that will be coming in the next couple of months with orbital tests on the schedule and in negotiations. 2. Regarding Pioneer Phase 1, the construction happens on the ground. It can start operation shortly after launch for uncrewed functions and can begin crewed functions as soon as on orbit validation is completed. For Pioneer Phase 1 we are pursuing customer funding and investor funding concurrently. We will make updates and announcements at appropriate times. 3. Crew compliment will depend on customer requirements. For example, tourism functions will require more crew than autonomous tasks. ~ Tim Alatorre, COO Above Space

drjeckl | RE: March 2023 Raise - Pitch Deck and Offering Page QuestionsFinal comments:---------What was published did not reflect what my text looked liked.-------- All blank lines and tabs were removed in the published format.--------- makes it very hard to read.--------- What has the potential to a valuable communications tool IMO fails in it's execution.---------------------------Update: I went back into the published version and inserted ----- where there should have been blank lines and tabs.----- Some what of a kludge but it's better than nothing.
drjeckl | RE: March 2023 Raise - Pitch Deck and Offering Page QuestionsThis looks like a potentially good tool, so lets give it a try:--------------------------- On the Strategic Roadmap slide: 1.There is no indication for when the Station-in-a-Box product will be available. Could you provide a timeline for the first deployment (presumably Above's test article), including launch date, build time and operational readiness?-----2.The slide indicates that Pioneer Phase 1 Launch is targeted for 2025.-----Then moving to the Product Roadmap slide for the Phase 1 Pioneer station:-----1.It says Planned Operation in late 2025. Well, that cant be! If Construction Time as stated as 24-48 months and with a launch of 2025 (from the previous slide), that would make it operational no earlier than 2027. Something needs to be fixed.-----2.In the fine print, it says Pioneer Phase 1 Funding Contingent. Can you provide any updates on when you may have large investor funding?-----3.There is little discussion on the size or the requirements of the operational crew, whether Above runs the station or the customer runs it. Can you provide information on this?----------------------------------OK, thats just a little bit on the Pitch Deck. Some comments on using this tool:-----1.The text editor IMO is very limited. Does not allow for different fonts, such as bold, underline, etc. or paragraph formatting. I opted to create this using Word and then copied and pasted.-----2.While I was doing this in Word, I got automatically logged out of the site due to inactivity and lost what I had already entered. There is no feature to save entered text. Only options are to Cancel or Publish. Not user friendly. |
